BILLING, SHIPPING & RETURNS

Payment by Credit Card, Debit Card or PayPal


Village Maternity accepts the following credit cards and forms of payment:
Debit cards issues by the financial services companies listed above are accepted.

Credit cards are generally charged only at the time we ship the item or items to you. However for both credit and debit cards we may "pre-authorize" your order amount with your card issuer at the time you place the order. This may trigger an "authorization hold" on your card. For debit cards, which draw on funds in a bank account, this means the amount of your purchase remains in your account but is no longer available to you. For credit cards, the charge in not processed but the amount may be deducted from your available line of credit.

Your credit or debit card will then be charged at the time we ship your items to you. If your order is sent out in multiple shipments the charges will process as each individual part of the order ships (you will see multiple, smaller amounts charged to your account).

It can typically take three to seven days for the purchase amount to clear your account. Your bank controls the timing of authorizations and payments from your account; for details please check with your bank.

Village Maternity partners with PayPal to facilitate payments and other payments and the disbursement of funds to sellers. If there are insufficient funds in your bank account when our provider processes the payment for your purchase, Village Maternity reserves the right to contact you directly and to seek payment.

Village Maternity may share your personal or transactional information with those third-party service providers when it's necessary to process payments.

By using a third-party service, you may also be subject to an agreement with the third-party. For example, PayPal is a third-party service provided by PayPal Holdings, Inc. and is subject to the PayPal User Agreement.

Payment by Gift Card


If you have ordered a gift card online (and it was emailed to you), you may use your gift card number during check out. When you use a gift card, we charge the card as soon as you place your order. If your purchase total is more than the value of your gift card, you can use another payment method to pay for the difference.

If your purchase total is less than the gift card's value, the gift card carries that remaining balance until you use it another time. If the item you want to purchase becomes unavailable, or it's on back order and you choose to cancel it before it ships, we send you a new gift card to cover the cost of the item, plus any applicable taxes and promotions. We don't add the value back to the original gift card.
Unfortunately, if you have a hard gift card, our system is not able to process it online. You can: 
1) Call or email the store and we can place the order over the phone
2) Place the order online and email us with your gift card number. We will process the gift card on our end and refund you the amount. 

Payment with a Promotional Discount

 
Each promotion, or special offer, has a code that you can type in during checkout, which tells our system to apply that particular offer or discount toward your purchase. 

NOTE: Before using any promotion, be sure to check its terms and conditions for specific guidelines and restrictions. Some promotions are good only for certain items.

 

U.S. Shipping

Our inventory will be shipped directly from our Seattle location.  We currently offer four shipping methods below. Orders placed by 12pm PST Monday-Friday will ship the same business day, excluding national holidays. Orders placed on Friday after 12pm PST, Saturday and Sunday, will ship out the following Monday excluding holidays. 

Please make sure that your order is shipping to a secure location, as once an order has been shipped to the address provided, we cannot be held responsible for lost, misplaced or stolen packages. If your order goes MIA, please contact the shipping provider noted in your shipping confirmation email.

U.S. Shipping Costs (including AK, HI)

We do not offer Saturday delivery, shipments to US Territories or delivery to P.O. Boxes or Military Post Offices.


International Shipping


We are currently only shipping internationally to Europe. Rates are based on current First Class International charges and calculated based on dimension and product weight. If you would like to request a special shipment outside of our delivery area, please contact us for arrangements. Please note additional duties may be required upon delivery.

Returns

FOR ONLINE PURCHASES

Returns are easy. Unworn, unwashed or defective merchandise purchased on villagematernity.com may be returned if postmarked within 14 days of the delivery date.

**Any purchases made Nov 24 - Dec 24 can be returned until Jan 15th.

Please keep returned merchandise in its original packaging, with all tags still attached.

Here is how it works:

Visit https://villagematernity.myshopify.com/apps/return_prime and enter your order number and the email that you used to place your order.

Follow the prompts. You will receive an email with detailed instructions for returns including a return label to print. Please note that our return labels will deduct a $10 shipping and restocking fee from your order return total.

We recommend that you make note of your return tracking number in the event you wish to monitor your return shipment. Village Maternity is not responsible for any lost returns.

Please allow 14 days for us to receive and process your return merchandise.

We will refund the price of the merchandise, including any taxes you were charged (excluding all applicable shipping charges), upon receiving the return. Please allow two billing cycles for your credit to appear on your statement.

Defective or missing orders: If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incomplete please contact us at mail@villagematernity.

Gift return: The return procedure for a gift is the same as a standard order. Please follow the procedures outlined in Returns.

Sale items (prices ending in .90) are final sale and cannot be exchanged or returned.

FOR IN-STORE PURCHASES

Returns may be made up to 14 days after date of purchase listed on receipt. 

 

 

Exchanges

For in-store purchases, we are happy to exchange or give store-credit for items up to 30 days from date of purchase.

For online purchases, we recommend following the return policy steps above for the items you wish to exchange and then submit a new order.
